Author of The 100 Best Business Books of All Time, Todd Sattersten, who is also president of 800CEOREAD.com, told the Dallas CEO Club today that business authors address the same five problems over and over:

  • Sense of Purpose
  • Openness to Change
  • Sensitive to Feedback
  • Bias for Action
  • Wisdom for Decision Making

Get your act together on all five of those points and you’ve got it made!

Interestingly, Todd said 14 of the 100 Best Business Books are on the topic of . . . failure!

He also relayed that 90% of all the decisions we make are by intuition. Which makes me wonder: What’s the sense of reading all those books!

By the way, what are you reading? I’ll give you my list in a few days.
